Katzenjammers is a stunning modernist take on a traditional Bavarian Bierkeller, located right next door to the Borough Market,

We have recently extended into our basement creating a beautiful new K2 Bierhall which allows us to seat a more of our fabulous customers and provides a stage so everyone gets a great view of our now legendary Oom-Pah bands.

We have an unbeatable range of 9 authentic draught biers as well as a range of nearly 30 bottled biers, come and work your way through them!

There’s also a fine choice of German and Austrian wines along with more choice of schnapps than you can shake a stick at!

Whether you’re dining in the upstairs Bierkeller with its extensive Bavarian menu or partying down in the K2 Bierhall with it’s stunning new sausage bar, you’ll never go hungry. The vast majority of our menu is sourced fresh from Bavaria every week by the German chefs who helped us create our menu.

If you’d like to book a private party, we can do that as well. Our management team of Mahmood and Esther are waiting to take care of your every whim (well, nearly every whim!). Full table service is available so why not come along, settle down and let us look after you?

BOOK YOUR TABLE NOW…

PLEASE NOTE: A £5 COVER CHARGE WILL BE CHARGED FOR ENTRY TO THE DOWNSTAIRS K2 BIERHALL FROM 9PM ON THURSDAY, FRIDAY & SATURDAY.
THIS CHARGE DOES NOT APPLY TO BOOKINGS THAT ARRIVE ON TIME…

If you’re planning in a visit to Katzenjammers, why not drop into ‘The Sheaf’, our sister bar next door?

Our amazing subterranean bar is just 20 metres past Katzenjammers, where you’ll find a huge range of craft beers, a great cocktails list & a fabulous menu.
